In the heart of Toronto, Ontario, Canada, just next to CN Tower, you can find the Ripley's Aquarium of Canada. The aquarium was inaugurated to the general public in October 2013 and is owned by Ripley Entertainment.


The aquarium has a variety of exhibits and interactive displays, as well as more than 16,000 aquatic animals from more than 450 species. Among the highlights are:


The 750,000-gallon exhibit Hazardous Lagoon has a moving promenade that lets visitors pass through an underwater tunnel while being surrounded by sharks, sea turtles, and other aquatic creatures.


Canadian Waters is a display that highlights the variety of aquatic life that may be found in Canada, including freshwater species, marine life from the Atlantic and Pacific coastlines, and arctic fish.


This exhibit, called Rainbow Reef, is a tropical coral reef ecosystem with colourful fish and other marine life from all over the world.


Visitors may get up close and personal with stingrays at this exhibit, and if they so desire, they can even pet them.


The Discovery Center is a space with interactive exhibits and displays that cover a variety of aquatic life-related subjects, including marine biology and conservation.


Ripley's Aquarium of Canada also provides a variety of special events and activities, such as sleepovers, yoga lessons, and behind-the-scenes tours, in addition to the exhibits.
